The Young Artist Program at Mims Studios is designed to introduce young talent to the world of traditional art and creative thinking, and is open year round to students between the ages of 11 and 18.

The Young Artists Course offers a unique opportunity to develop visual skills through the creative process of drawing and painting. Each student will be engaged in projects developed especially for younger students to learn from at their own pace. No experience is necessary. Studio lessons will be colored with demonstrations of materials and techniques, as well as illustrated lectures on art history.
